Design Services
No security system is plug-and-play. No fire detection system is turnkey. At IFSS, we believe that design is the fundamental first step to getting a security or fire detection system that works for you. Every building, situation, and set of goals is unique, and the solution you implement should be designed exclusively with those characteristics in mind. IFSS always starts with your needs and objectives in mind. Here are the steps in our security and fire system design process:
Comprehensive Evaluation
IFSS starts by sitting down with you to discuss your unique objectives and situation. Then we conduct a site visit to see the facility and evaluate any currently operating systems with which new technology would need to integrate. In short, we always begin by understanding more about your business and needs.
AHJ Submittal Process
For fire detection systems, fire marshal review and approval is required. Depending on the type of facility, other agencies may have jurisdiction over approval of different systems. IFSS can handle the entire submittal process to the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) and obtain approval so you can ensure your facility is ready and approved for operation.
Specification
After careful evaluation, IFSS returns to propose the equipment and configuration that we believe are best suited for your situation. We work with you to identify precisely the equipment that will offer the performance you desire while simultaneously working within your budget.
CAD services
Because it is easier to make changes on paper than on walls, IFSS provides comprehensive blueprint design of your system in CAD, so that we can lay out the system, discuss any challenges, and have a reference document that provides clear instruction for installers.
